Every movie I try to burn has a few pauses/skips at the beginning and if its over 1 1/2 hours long it gets blotchy at the end and freezes up.  any help would be great

What program are you using to burn your movie with? Is this a clone (Such as CloneDVD2 would make and burn) or a downloaded file compiled and burned with say ConvertXtoDVD?

Also, are you using cheap DVDs or good ones (Verbatim, Sony, HP, etc).

There are a lot of different things that can go wrong to give you your problem, but I need more details.
